Reversi / Othello

Othello or in European countries called reversion is a chess game similar to chess igo (hikaru no go anime movie). othello is not chess igo, because only by 8x8 box only consisting of black and white pulp.

Othello game is played on the arena board square boxes with coins in black and white above the arena. At the beginning of the game put two coins in black and white two coins at the center of the arena.

The first player uses the black coin and the second player uses the white coin. Black coins should be able to 'jump over' white coins so that coins can be black and white. After switching positions and a black coin coins through which changed color to black, white coin whose turn to move. White coins had to 'jump over' black coin so that the coin can be changed to white coins.

Both players continuously alternately move the location of each coin. Only one coin can be moved each time the road turn. Movement coin can be straight or diagonal long as each movement form a straight line.

The game will end when all the little squares on the playing field filled with coins or entire coin on the arena of the same color. The winner is the player who has the most number of coins above the playing area.

Currently Othello played not only in traditional, but it has been a lot made in the form of animation on a computer.

History

Othello history began in 1945, after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
