Gran Turismo

Gran Turismo comes from the word Guran Tsūrisumo (Italian language for the Grand Touring). This game is a game genre racing and driving simulation developed by Polyphony Digital.

Gran Turismo was developed specifically for the PlayStation platforms. GT simulate the appearance and performance of many types of cars, almost all the cars in Gran Turismo produced in the real world and all it has permission.

First released in 1997-1998, namely Gran Turismo 1 (GT1) for PS1. The designer is Kazunori Yamauchi. In this game there are 140 cars and 11 tracks in the game.

- Gran Turismo 2 (GT2) were released in 1999-2000 for the PS1. In GT2 there are 650 cars and 27 tracks.

- Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, released in 2001 for the PS2. In GT3 there are 181 cars and 34 tracks.

- Gran Turismo 4 (GT4) was released in 2005 for the PS2. In GT4 there are 722 cars and 51 tracks.

- Gran Turismo 5 was released in 2010 for PS3. In this game there are 1086 cars and 73 tracks plus a track editor.

- Gran Turismo 6 (GT6) is released in 2013 for PS3. The number of cars in this game is 1226 and the track 100.

Gran Turismo developer is developing the successor of the GT6, namely Gran Turismo 7 is rumored to be released this year.
